Ken is a human rights activist/advocate from Samoa. For 30 years he has been a pioneer and advocate for LGBTIQ issues, including HIV in the Pacific.

Ken founded the Samoa AIDS Foundation in 2004. In 2006, Ken has recieved an award for Human Rights form the South Pacific Community (SPC-RRRT) for his work on HIV advocacy work in Samoa and the Pacific. Ken co-founded the Pacific Sexual Diversity Network (PSDN), a network of Pacific LGBTIQ organisations, and groups and is the Technical Advisor since 2007 to the present. He is a founding member of GIN (Global Interfaith Network) for SSOGIE. Currently working in the capacity of a Pacific Island Consultant for LGBTIQ issues.

Ken is currently a board member of ILGA Oceania. Ken is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Uniting Netowrk, the LGBTIQ arm of the Uniting Church. Ken is on the Steering Committee - Gold Coast Pride House 2018. Ken has excellent organisational and leadership skills.
